Feed The Children And The Guests… Salsa, Bachelorette Parties… Oh my

I’m going to start with last night because a lot went on and I would have to call it an extra exciting night. It started off with the Bowery Hotel at 8 o’clock. There was an event there, Feed the Children.

I’ve been to a lot of these events and they’re all pretty much the same but something I noticed, whenever I go to one of these events there is tons of food there, great food, open bar and they always have some type of entertainment. The tickets are like $75 to $100. I go there just to photograph. I don’t need that much food because I’m still guilty because it’s for Feed the Children and I’m not leaving a donation but I take a lot of pictures. It’s funny how everyone gets dressed up to the nines there. It was a really good event. But I want to get into something that was totally unique.

First of all, I go with my lawyer friend. I don’t like to mention names to protect the innocent. But anyway, we went over to a new place called The Raines Law Room. He heard about it and he had a connection for us to get in there. When you first walk in there, it’s a big giant living room for like five living rooms. It looks like a furniture store but it’s not.

The unique thing about this is there’s a giant kitchen like a regular kitchen but giant and you all get to hang out in the kitchen and hang out with the people making your food and making the drinks and you’re just sitting on the stools there in this giant kitchen like you are at home. A lot of people spend time in the kitchen in homes. You know, the wife cooking, the dad sit at the table, the kids asking questions. Of course, there were no kids there but it’s that kitchen atmosphere. The drink specialties were great, the people were cool. It’s a perfect place to go on a date to just sit down, relax and talk.

Anyway, I want to get to the exciting part. There’s a bar called Gonzales y Gonzales, it’s a Mexican bar I know very well for a long time. They have parties there. They have three parties going on at once. They had I guess a bachelorette party. This one girl is getting married and she had like 12 of her friends. So they’re drinking tequila with these umbrellas on

As I was saying, I was at the Mexican bar called Gonzales y Gonzales. It’s very funny – they get three to four parties going in there at once and sometimes the parties merge into each other. Very good salsa been there so a lot of Spanish people that go there really dance and boy, can they dance. Sorry about that, truck going by. Anyway, boy, can they dance. I’ve never seen people spin like that. They’re spinning around…
