Bills are due… Watching the stressed out guys at the phone booth

Good morning. It is now August 31st. Of course, I’m on a typical stress of bills tomorrow but I’m in a good mood. Yesterday was pretty much one of those typical days but I could share some of my thought with you guys.

Got up yesterday and decided to go to the city a little early. I felt like I can go to this one phone booth that I know. I used to work in a store where in front of it was a phone booth. Of course, the store is not there anymore and I used to get a lot of interesting photographs about four years ago of all these people that use these phones because they don’t have cell phones.

Either they’re doing some illegal activities or they’re stressed out or they’re trying to get their cell phone put back on. A lot of, I guess, intensity of facial expressions, of anxiety on that phone.

Anyway, I went there for about a half hour. There were some people of course. They’re all stressed out making phone calls and this and that.

But while I was there, of course people walking by – this is pretty close to F.I.T. – Fashion Institute. And I focused on – which I do a lot anyway – fashion. I noticed a lot of people got up in the morning, they put on something that they really like. Then I noticed a lot of people putting on stuff that they think other people like. So, it’s just after my double espresso my mind’s racing just trying to figure out who is dressing for themselves and who’s dressing for other people.

Anyway, I stayed there for about an hour because I was in the city very early and I went to one of my new location jobs which was 25th and Broadway. And I kept that same mindset because there are a couple of designer schools and there’s a couple of modeling agencies so kind of focused on fashion yesterday with everything else.

I’m in a good mood. I got to sleep the last two nights. I didn’t drink but a lot of events coming up on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So I’m preparing myself and I should have some exciting stuff to talk about. Signing off.
