A little information about my qualifications of being the photographer for Portraits of New York.

Back in the mid-70’s, there are a lot of portraits of people in Key West. A lot of characters there back then. People like Tennessee Williams, Shel Silverstein, Calvin Klein, Disney characters and writers and artists of that community. My grandpa’s friends to all of them so I got to take their picture.

Moving up to the very I would say mid-80’s, I’ve worked for two companies as a portrait photographer. [00:42 inaudible] and Thomas and [00:45 inaudible] Studio. Thousands of college kids doing their portraits to make them look as good as they can so their parents will buy lots of 8 x 10’s. I’ll brag I was very good at it.

Then ’89 I really started, I became the go-go photographer doing hundreds of portraits during the day of go-go dancers and thousands of them at night. In about 2 1/2 year period, I published 1,200 go-go dancers for Mentertainment that’s live onstage and trying to get them to look best as I can. I did over 290 portfolios of beautiful half naked women to make them look sensational. And to please the go-go dancer with photographs isn’t easy. Anyway, that’s my qualifications for being on the streets in New York City.

When someone’s approaching me, I know to go to the left side, the right side, shoot them high, shoot them low. I can see what looks best for them. I could see their walk right foot, left foot, right foot, left foot and then I know right when to hit that shutter button. Once again, I’m sorry I’m bragging but I just want to let everyone know these photographs all you’ll be viewing, these new ones that I’m going to be putting on maybe about 1,200 – they should be the best of the best. Hopefully, it will be on the next three to five weeks.

Signing off.
