The Viper Party and The African Dance Party, what a weekend

Continuation of Sunday the 29th. Getting back to this famous restaurant I walk by, there’s 16 Vipers out there. These are very expensive sports car. Only 300 are owned in America, 16 of them within New York City. Anyway, they’re having their annual Viper party and I talked to the Maitre d’ and then talked to the owner then the owner talked to the people who own the Vipers. They are happy to have Portraits of New York cover their party, lucky me.

Unbelievable food from filet mignon to lobsters to caviars and sushi and on top of that open bar – my deadliest enemy. Anyway, these guys were really cool even though they were super rich, arrogant, super playboys. Even some were married, they have their wives there and all the wives posing their hands like viper snakes.

I actually helped that party, everyone’s laughing and there I am sitting down there with these millionaires – more than a millionaire – some of them I think own banks or something, I don’t know. But it was an incredible party. Pictures are great, really going to make Portrait of New York look interesting. And then even though I’m sitting with these very wealthy people, I just about have money to get home on the bus or train.

Anyway, getting into Saturday – that was Friday night – Saturday night, the lawyer also again pulls off some great party. It was an African benefit. He wanted to donate some money towards this cause. He knew all the people there.
Another great party, photographing very interesting people – they did an African dance. They had people from Africa. They are doing their dance with the bongos and the African screeching noises from the girls. It was great. It was very entertaining.

But once again, open bar again. I got nailed twice with this open bar party thing. So tonight, I’m going to go home with kids getting ready for school and the landlord and all that stuff. Anyway, I don’t know how to sign off on this thing so I’m just continually talking. I guess I could press star, maybe that will work.
