Finally something interesting. About a year ago, little more, a friend of mine from Columbia, he took me into a restaurant in Queens – a Columbian bakery/restaurant bar. It’s a really cool place. Well, he brought me to show me something – something very funny and interesting. All the Columbian girls there had these big butts, not fat just like – looks like implants. Anyway, they are implants.
In Columbia, for some reason, these young girls get these butt implants. There’s one thing worse than bad breast implants – butt implants. It is so funny there is like balloons in their ass.
Anyway, he was friends with the owner. The owner was like crazy for women with balloon butts. I became friends with the owner because I was going to Queens for a while and he wanted me to photograph one of his girlfriends and his apartment. So that’s what I did last night. I did a sexy Victoria’s Secret shoot at his apartment in Manhattan with this new girlfriend of his.
Her butt implants were okay. She had butt implants, breast implants – it was funny. He’s an older guy like me, 55 and he has a young girlfriend. One of my specialties is making a seven into a ten or a six into an eight. Anyway, I had to make a four at least look like a seven. Anyway, he broke out with some crazy tequila. We were all drinking and laughing. He did some funky, crazy news. He got toasted right away. It was funny, it was a great shoot.
What I really want to talk about now is the new location – 35th and 36th, in between. I’m on the outskirts of the garment district. This is the first day I worked – a work day. I only worked at two days on the weekends so it’s just all tourists. Very serious fashion dressing people in that area more than anywhere in New York City because it’s the fashion district. So I got great shots of people in the fashion industry. No models, no make-up artists, just the people who I guess design clothes or sew clothes.
