Good morning. Just made the kids their colossal breakfast, got them off to school, ready to start the beginning of my Halloween weekend. By the way, I’d make this colossal breakfast every morning for my two sons, get them off to school no matter what time I get in.

Anyway, the last two days got to go with action packed. Tuesday night, the New York Press through their yearly party, I got to hang out with the publisher of that newspaper and a couple of magazines. They own about seven newspapers and magazines. Trying to I guess towards this coordinator acclimate myself into their company with Portraits of New York like I could get free advertising from them, they could do something with me. We have a meeting after this weekend – that’s going to be interesting.

Also the publisher of all these magazines knew all about Mentertainment and Sophie back from 20 years ago. He was a DJ when I was a go-go photographer. So, he kind of understands where I’m at. I already know where he’s at.

Anyway, they had a great party. It was the 31 Club on 13th Street, three floors, a rooftop bar, open bar. I only had like two drinks. It’s amazing since I quit drinking, if I go have a drink it only takes two of them to get me where I want to go instead of like eight.

Anyway, I photographed a lot of people there. I was actually there as a photographer so it’s much easier than saying I’m from Portraits of New York. So, I just ran around saying I’m photographing for the New York Press.

Okay, sliding in to yesterday morning. Same location of course. A lot of problems there, people in the building are getting upset. But when I finally talked to them, they understand what I’m doing and then it’s fine. So maybe there’s 10 people that are pissed off and 30 that like the whole idea. I just have to stop and talk to them. Sometimes they don’t give me a chance.

Last night, a very good friend of mine, one of my ex-bosses – that’s great about with all these stores, all my ex-bosses I’m still friends with. Anyway, took me to a New York Ranger Hockey game. What a bunch of crazy fans they are. Great seats, fights on the ice, Madison Square Garden – it was great.

I’m going to be staying home tonight with the kids but Friday and Saturday are going to be action packed.

Signing off.
